Tofas dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Cholet Basket 's 26. Tolga Gecim (206-1996) stepped up and scored 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and Mexican-American point guard Alexander Perez-Kaufmann (191-1993) chipped in 13 points and 5 assists. At the losing side American Markel Brown (193-1992, college: OK State) responded with 6 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Nathan De Sousa (190-2003, agency: Network Sports International) scored 16 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
